How the Cross Layer System Works

The Foundation System includes a waterproof turnout rug and removable breathable mesh liner designed to work together as a complete 0g setup.

Additional thermal layers and detachable neck coverage can then be added as conditions change.

One system. Use it on its own, or layer as needed..

Where to start

The system is designed to be built over time.

Most people start with the outer layer.

It works on its own across a range of conditions, and gives you a base to build from as things change.

There’s no need to commit to everything at once — just start with what you’ll use day to day, and add to it over time.

Build Over Time

Once you have the outer, you can add layers as and when you need them — whether that’s for warmth, airflow, or changing conditions.

There’s no fixed setup. It’s designed to adapt over time, depending on your horse and how you use it.
