The System

The Cirra Stable Layer Hood is designed to integrate with the Cirra Stable Layer as a lightweight breathable neck option for stable, travel, and lighter-use environments.

Compatible with Cross Layer hood liners, it provides adaptable additional coverage without the weight of a full turnout neck.

For turnout use in wet or harsher conditions, we recommend using the Cross Layer Outer Neck.

We recommend measuring your horse from the centre of their chest to the furthest point of the hindquarters to determine the most suitable size.

The Cross Layer system features a structured fit with integrated shoulder gussets, allowing for flexibility and freedom of movement across adjacent size ranges.

Fit note: Our current outer rug has a more streamlined shoulder fit than some traditional rugs. Horses with particularly broad shoulders, deep chests or baroque builds may benefit from contacting us for sizing advice before ordering
