The System

The Stable Layer is designed to work within the Cross Layer System as a lightweight breathable outer for stable and lighter-use conditions.

Compatible with all Cross Layer liners, it allows you to switch from turnout to stable use while continuing to use the same interchangeable layering system underneath.

For full turnout protection in wet or harsher conditions, we recommend the Cross Layer System Outer Rug.

Size Chart

We recommend measuring your horse from the centre of their chest to the furthest point of the hindquarters to determine the most suitable size.

The Cross Layer system features a structured fit with integrated shoulder gussets, allowing for flexibility and freedom of movement across adjacent size ranges.

Fit note: Our current outer rug has a more streamlined shoulder fit than some traditional rugs. Horses with particularly broad shoulders, deep chests or baroque builds may benefit from contacting us for sizing advice before ordering
